Dr. Friscia is a 1987 graduate of The University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. In 1988 he completed a general practice residency program at Richmond Memorial Hospital in Staten Island, New York. Dr. Friscia has served as President and Treasurer of the R.V. Tucker Cast Gold Study Club of New Jersey.
Academy of General Dentistry
Dr. Friscia is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. He attained Fellowship status by taking over 500 continuing education credit hours over a 5-year period which culminated in his taking a comprehensive all day written examination. Only 7% of the dentists in the United States obtain a Fellowship.
Dr. Friscia routinely takes hundreds of hours of continuing education yearly. His dedication to his profession is not only fulfilling to him but he is also able to bring the most advanced and highest quality dentistry to his patients.
Dr. Friscia is an alumnus of the prestigious world renowned Pankey Institute for advanced Dental Education. The Institute requires intensive 10-hour days of week-long study in various advanced dental concepts. It takes many years to complete this curriculum.
Dr. Friscia maintains memberships in many associations. Some of the most notable associations are, The Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, The American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The R.V. Tucker Cast Gold and Gold Foil Academies and many more. He has also served on various planning committees for international dental meetings.
Dr. Friscia is currently on the faculty at Rutgers University School of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and is the Past Director of the Cast Gold elective for the senior dental students.
Dr. Friscia contributes to the community in various ways, most notably, he sponsors a yearly scholarship to a deserving high school senior.
